Details:

This is more like a feature request and to make it works it is needed to patch
also qscintilla (if it is used). I filled a request on its mailing list (the
patch is also provided here).

The patches are trivial and work against qscintilla 2.8.1 and octave stable
branch.

Another thing I would like to correct is the handling of the cursor on
octave-qscintilla editor. I like to use dark colors and it does not work well
on current iteration (it is almost "invisible" with dark colors). The correct
place to cope with that seems to me to be along the handling of qscintilla
lexer.

It would also be useful to have a way to export and to import different
"syntax color schemes".

Are there anyone working on this so that we can coordinate our efforts?
