Follow-up Comment #9, patch #9000 (project octave): The boost "libraries" turn out to comprise 105 MB of include files. Wow. Its a personal thing but I'm never fond of big piles of junk of which in the end only a few files will be used. 105 MB is > 10 % of the total install size of current mxe-octave builds. A native .m ccw (for one polygon) could be a simple wrapper about polygonArea: s/th like: <texinfo> : ccw = polygonArea (XY) >= 0; ..but polysplit/clipper also do sets of polygons.
