Follow-up Comment #13, patch #8535 (project octave):

I tried to compile firpm with g++ 5.4.0 (in Ubuntu 16.04) and I got the
following error message:

firpm.cc: In function ‘octave_value_list Ffirpm(const octave_value_list&,

firpm.cc:392:32: error: passing ‘const octave_value’ as ‘this’
argument discards qualifiers [-fpermissive]
