[Octave-patch-tracker] [patch #8943] object class "light" for lighting effects on patches and surfaces

Follow-up Comment #32, patch #8943 (project octave):

I'm coming to this a little late, I guess.  There seem to be a lot of patches
referenced in the comments below and I'm not sure of what should or should not
be applied or in what order or whether things are fully ready to be applied to
Octave.

Could someone summarize briefly?  I'd like to integrate the outstanding
patches and I'm willing to review patches but I need a list of current patches
that should be reviewed.
