Follow-up Comment #60, patch #9440 (project octave):
I had tried the gfortran extension some time ago, but at that time I
misunderstood how they work. Now I've tried it again, but got stuck. When
using an Sdk extension, there's another "root directory" with bin, lib, share
etc folders available under /usr/lib/Sdk/gfortran.
The extension also contains two scripts, install.sh (which copies the shared
object files to /app/lib ) and use.sh (which adds /usr/lib/Sdk/gfortran/bin to
PATH).
But somehow, PATH doesn't change when running use.sh and copying the binary to
/app/bin results in a linker error when building OpenBLAS.
I've asked how one is supposed to use the extension here [0], but haven
received any reply so far.
