Follow-up Comment #37, patch #9084 (project octave):

... and then, to add to the confusion, I have kept this patch updated to the
default branch, but didn't bother to upload yet as nobody seemed interested.
Attached are latest (relative to d1216d085280) and an earlier one from May 14
valid for the default branch at that moment, the latter maybe only relevant
for historians :-)

I can't say I have used it much yet but I tried it with some code I found on
the web and AFAICS uitable works fine.
