Thanks for the information, that those tests should all be Matlab compatible.

I have now reviewed this code as much as I will be able to do (even in the
next months). But since these are very many lines of code, this review has by
no means been exhaustive.

And to my understanding Avinoam has also reviewed this code, already.

So my suggestion would be to now PUSH these new functions. Unless someone else
(Carne?) has the time to do more reviewing.
