Follow-up Comment #6, patch #9544 (project octave): For sunspot.dat I see the two things: 1) R data goes from 1700-1988 https://rdrr.io/r/datasets/sunspot.year.html 2) Activity sheet from 1700-2015 https://www.esrl.noaa.gov/gmd/outreach/info_activities/pdfs/MAA_sunspots_and_climate_change.pdf >From https://www.esrl.noaa.gov/gmd/about/disclaimer.html It appears the information is in the public domain ML states average number of sunspots observed every year from 1700 to 1987 Is this just a two column file?
