Is there a standard open source image to test against this?

Using the ruler.512 image from 
http://sipi.usc.edu/database/database.php?volume=misc&image=39#top

With command


imshow (imread("ruler.512.tiff"));impixelinfo;


This appears to be working but the origin is (1,1) should it be (0,0)?
