@Philipp, I have changed the way how renamed/removed files are handled by the
editor with cset http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/2f6904439d3c
which should fix the issue you have found with modified files.

Now I will take care of the latest version of Remi's patch :-)
