Hi *,
when trying to compile om I get the following error message:
----------------------------
address@hidden:~/om_test1.2.0/om-synth$ ./configure
checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
checking whether build environment is sane... yes
checking whether make sets $(MAKE)... no
checking for working aclocal-1.4... found
checking for working autoconf... found
checking for working automake-1.4... found
I'm going to assume this is your problem. I use automake 1.9, I'm not
sure Om's autogen.sh stuff will work with 1.7, let alone 1.4. Try 1.9
(install the debian package automake1.9)
P.S.: It seems to me that om is not rellay suitable to debian so far...
It always takes me loads of work to get rid of "impossible dependencies"
when trying to
fulfill om's rewuirements...
Actually, every line of code in Om was written on my Debian box. ;)
Some of the audio things probably are out of date in Debian though..
