Priority. Right now we have last note on is sounding. Also useful is top note is sounding, for instance to double the top note of a chord progression played with one hand with a different sound.
Another thing I have to figure out is if portamento can be flexibly handled with the awailable ladspa plugins. To get portamento I normally us the trick of lowpass filtering the freq output from the midi module. This also means the non-legato still have portamento betwwen them. It's nicer to have only portamento between overlapping notes. This might be possible by connecting the gate to the filter in a clever way, have to investigate.
My point is that this (portamento) is another thing that for me would be nice and logical to cram into midi module...
Easier said than done.
