Hi.
What you're experiencing is one of the two annoying (and elusive) bugs.
Usually, it manifests itself when there are multiple programs using the
device at the same time. On my system, for example, the first program to
open the device plays normally, and the next ones play fast.
To bypass it, make sure you're not running stuff like ESD, arts etc...
Hopefully the bug is going to be fixed some time in the future.
