The KT7-RAID has the KT133 chipset. The KT7A-RAID has the KT133A revision.
I'm not certain if that makes the difference. Also, it could be any number of
other components, like a videocard, that makes the difference. I've noticed
that a lot of people use nVidia and have various problems that I don't have
with my PowerVR Kyro 2.
