alsa-driver 1.0.0pre3, compiled with --with-cards=au8830 --with-sequencer=yes 
- --disable-verbose-printk.

Compiles and installs well. Tested about an hour with xmms-1.2.8/alsa plugin.
NO troubles noticed. SPDIF presents in the alsamixer :)
