Pan assumes that the content type of a message containing uuencoded data
is "text/plain" but some posts have an explicit encoding set. The test
in util-mime.c ignores messages with other than a "text/plain" encoding.
The attached patch also checks for "x-uuencode" explicitly and handles
it.
There was some discussion between Charles Kerr and Jeffrey Stedfast
about fixing this somehow in the gmime code -- but as of "pan-0-11-fix"
it doesn't seem to be handled.
This patch was originally made against 0.11.1 but still applies cleanly
to "pan-0-11-fix".
It has been submitted several times before and ignored.
If it sucks -- just tell me and I'll go away.
