[Pan-users] Feature request: Edit->Copy menu item in main PAN window. |

Having the ability to copy a highlighted block of text in a
newsgroup article to the Gnome clipboard with an Edit->Copy menu
item would be a useful feature for PAN. Here's why:
There are times when it is desired to copy a block of text from
a newsgroup article to either the compose message window or to a
different Gnome application. Although the block can currently be
captured simply by highlighting with the mouse, when pasted (by
clicking mouse button #2) into a window containing existing text,
it's usually not pasted at the cursor position.
(The same problem occurs with Mouse Capture/Paste in other Gnome
apps; if Gnome could get its act together in this regard, the
requested feature would not be needed.)
If anyone has a better suggestion for getting around this problem,
I'd certainly like to hear about it.
