[Pan-users] lag ?

hi
i've noticed this behaviour since i use pan (0.7.?)
when i browse some bin newsgroups, and then if i wait some seconds and then
after i click on an other article to download/read it, pan just does nothing,
nothing in the task bar, cpu not used either, donno what pan is waiting, and
after some seconds, it downloads the article 
it can take from 2-3 sec to 2-3 min to react

i say it again, the cpu is not used, pan does nothing..

i donno what's wrong, i compiled it from source with gcc 2.95.2/2.95.3
(i use 0.11.91 now)
