        That will be very welcome!  :)
        One thing I have always liked about gqView and GIMP is that in their 
file dialogs, the path fields support tab-completion just like Bash 
prompts.  Path history is especially slick, as potential matches show 
up in a drop-down list and I can use a couple of arrow-key presses, 
followed by <Enter>, to go where I want.  Every time I have to browse 
deep into a directory tree on a Windoze machine, I miss this 
functionality!  :-p
        (KDE has caught up to this recently, to my joy...)

        Great!  :)  At this rate, by the time Pan hits version 1.0 it will be 
the greatest newsreader alive...  and I'm not really kidding there!
