Jim,
I got these same errors IIRC when compiling the 0.11.3 from CVS with
added patches from Colin Leroy, so I gave up on it. Howver, when I
compiled the 0.11.4 tarball there were no such problems. I'm using
autoconf 2.53 and automake 1.6.2. I can't try 0.12.x yet because I
don't have GTK2 unfortunately.
