Or, it could be something I've seen: If a message is very short, and I
move on to the next message in less than a second, the message is not
marked as read. I guess that's not considered enough time to have really
read it. ;) I can't find a configuration setting for the time value --
at least, not in the 0.12 I've got here. (Dual-boot between Mandrake and
Gentoo; more recent version on the Gentoo side.)
