Cool. An experiment! We all get to be guinea pigs! Yea! (Hey, that's what
betas are for. If you don't like it, don't do betas, and for that matter,
consider shelving PAN and coming back for the 1.0 release.)

I see both sides. I use left-click activates, middle-click selects, and have
found it a bit disconcerting to have one group displayed as selected in the
group pane, while another one is displayed in the overview (header) pane, but
when I'm doing it specifically, using select, not activate, that's fine, and
DOES allow me to continue where I was back in the original overviews if I so
desire, thus, it's worth a bit of momentary disorientation.

The one that gets me most often, tho, is when I change servers. Then, I have
an entirely new set of groups in the group pane, while still displaying the
old one in the overview pane until I click on a group in the group pane.
That behavior is NOT as expected, because I activated the new server, not
just selected it, in my mind. That's VERY disconcerting to me.

Another focus oddity.. If I click on a column in the overview pane to resort
overviews, then hit Ctl-A select all, it selects all the GROUPS, in the GROUP
pane! I clicked in the OVERVEW (header) pane, NOT the group pane, why does
select all select all groups, not all overviews? This usually happens when I
switch between size sorting, to delete based on size, and subject/date
sorting, then select all, in ordered to hit the d/l hotkey. Having it
suddenly select all in a pane that hasn't had the focus in several minutes,
instead of the current pane, tends to be rather frustrating. If I click an
individual overview first, after sorting but b4 hitting select all, it works
as expected, but that's hard to remember and not intuitive, and having it
select all in the group pane is DEFINITELY not intuitive, when I haven't done
anything there in some time and was just working in the overview pane.

Thus, the old overviews vs. blank overviews on select group, doesn't matter
much to me, tho I have a slight preference for the old behavior of continuing
to display old overviews. Switching servers, however, I'd expect to blank
the overview pane, the behavor select group is doing now, and even more
bothersome to me than that is the select all, selecting in the group pane,
when I just clicked on a column sort in the overview pane. That one is
REALLY annoying to me.
