I had the same with Astraweb.com an independant news service yesterday (Sunday)
I see that they had a DoS attack. (thier status report) I suspect that the
system
was down at that moment when Pan tried to get THAT header
Basically the problem (IMHO) is with the news service and not Pan

It's not always AOL users. I'm going to try the delete-re-d/l option and run
pan in debug mode to see what comes up. This morning I'm seeing articles
that pop up an X, I hit enter again, nothing comes up. I press enter a third
time, and up comes the article. Very strange....
