You didn't get what he was saying -- that he was posting them manually by
uuencoding them and using the external editor feature to load them in, after
which PAN simply posts it like it would any other post.
The problem, BTW, isn't related to that. Rather, it's related to a bug I had
with posting long posts, in my case text posts of over about 13k, since while
that's a quite long text post, it's a quite short encoded binary attached
post.

The bug has a temporary workaround included in .95, it looks like, with the
issue to be reexamined for 0.14.2, since 0.14.1 is just around the corner,
providing there are no show-stopper bugs in the new 0.14.0.95 beta for
0.14.1.
