Very simple, adjust your .sig to be less than or equal to 4 lines.

Well I was giving a serious real world answer. I don't know if your
Usenet .sig is the same as the one you use for mail, but if it is you
have two unnecessary lines of # characters in it. Removing those would
make Pan stop complaining I'd expect.

Nah , usenet sig does not have the "unnecessary" #'s :=}
