[Pan-users] Pan inserts tab characters in headers of replies to crossposts

I've had this problem with 0.14.2, 0.14.2.90, and 0.14.2.91, all compiled from 
source here.

It's only recently become a nuisance.

When replying to cross-posted articles, Pan inserts tab characters in the 
"newsgroups" header about every 75 characters (it varies).

This only appears in the posted article and the folder copy, not the message 
editor.

I don't know whether this is a problem with Pan, or with a library.

Can anybody suggest where to look?
