[Pan-users] Connecting Pan to Netscape Secure News Server

I tried setting this up (the Netscape Server uses port 563) but nothing 
happened - it just hung on the "downloading new groups" with no 
connection showing. (I'm on ADSL....)
Do I presume that Pan won't connect to the Netscape secure server?
