[Pan-users] Quirks with Pan 0.109

Hello all,

I've been using Pan 0.109 on Mac OS X; the "new Pan" is coming along pretty
nicely IMO :-) There are a couple of oddities or minor bugs that I've
noticed:

The "Show Matching Articles' Threads" preference seems to be preserved
between sessions, but it's not actually being applied. My Pan is set to
display threads containing unread articles, but it actually displays
*subthreads* containing unread articles. Changing the preference to, e.g. "Show Matching Articles" and then changing it back makes the headers display
fine.

The regex used to find *bolded* and /italicized/ text can be fooled pretty
easily; for example, typing /usr/local puts "usr" in italics. Here's a
regex I use for italicization in Vim:

  \s/[^/]\+/[ .!?:;]

This ensures that there is whitespace before the initial slash and
whitespace or some kind of punctuation after the second slash. This might
benefit from some further refinement, but won't be caught by e.g.
/usr/local.

I hope some of this is helpful!
