I do not have gtk-engines-qt installed on my gentoo box.
I've tried all the gnome themes available to no avail.
I'm using
Gnome 2.14.2,
Gtk-engines 2.6.10,
gtk+-2.10.1
xorg-server-1.1.1-r1
Strangely, everything has a white background except the date column with a
soft grey background.
