You haven't looked very hard at your post article dialog recently, have
you?  Simply reply to either group or author, and fill in the other entry.
Here, I always reply to group, since the shortcut key for that is after
several years practically hard-wired into my fingers.  <g>  If necessary,
I then go back to the main pan window, hit the display headers shortcut,
select the email address(es) desired, and paste them into the mail-to. 
However, others may find it easier to reply to author and simply type or
paste in the newsgroup, since that will stay the same for more posts and
you are more likely to know it.
