And speaking as a linux user, I also never use the Gnome desktop. :)

I have been a Windowmaker user since 1999, and don't plan on changing
any time soon. It's no big deal, especially using Debian, to grab any
and all dependencies I need to run any app no matter what toolkit it
requires.

Actually, I wouldn't mind seeing Pan wind up using the Qt toolkit! ;-)
