Hi, there,
I am using PAN 0.123 under Fedora Core 6.
I would like to know if there is any way to change
the character encoding in the header pane.
I subscribed to a few groups which are mostly in BIG5
(chinese). But PAN can't display the headers correctly
in the header pane.
Some characters are displayed ok but most are not.
If I download/read the articles, the header are
displayed correctly in the "Subject" line.
I tried to change the character encoding to BIG5 in the
group preference window. It didn't help. What does this
option do?
I also tried to change the character encoding under "View"
menu to BIG5. It didn't help either.
It only changes the characters in the BODY pane.
I also changed the font for the header (under Fonts tab of
Pan: Preferences). It didn't help.
Does anyone know how to achieve this?
Thanks,
Roger
