I've been getting those errors intermittently for a couple of days.
I posted successfully this morning, but all afternoon I've been
getting 441 using different news clients, and again just now.

I think it's a gmane problem.  I sent an email to Lars -- but I'm
not holding my breath waiting for an answer ;-)
