Well, it depends on if you are going to use analog channels, if you have the ESC close to the board, probably the 

"digital" sensors will have less performance (but probably the vibrations and accelerations are more important than a ground plane) etc

In my opinion, if both boards work well, the only way for knowing the differences is to put them in a plane and check the logs.

The footprint of the ITG3200 extends below the base of the IC. Because the IC has a metal baseplate, this causes a 0.025mm tolerance on placement of the ITG-3200 which is almost impossible to achieve. I an unable to correct the files because I don't have Protel.

The error is corrected, and given that the original design is based on very small size, the original pcb is 4 layers, but the important is, i made it 2 layers with same dimensions as in Umarim V10 (with lots of effort! ).
I worked with Altium10 software(Protel), 

If you are interested, i could send the file(Protel 99SE format or newer version of Protel: PCB 5.0 Binary File).
