As said, the project is not finished and got stuck in the proof of concept phase but here is what we have:

1) in ./paparazzi folder: run paparazzi and start for instance a simulator (or a real flight, as long as there is an ivy bus with a server)

2) run qgroundcontrol and remember the ip-number of the machine it runs on (e.g. qgc is in my windows while paparazzi runs in a virtual machine)

3) a) download https://github.com/mavlink/mavlink-ivy-interface , 

    b) edit the ./interface/udp.cpp file and add your qgc-ipnumber on line 75

    c) make (you will need cmake: sudo apt-get install cmake)

    d) run:  ./build/interface/mavlink-ivy-interface

and the https://github.com/mavlink/mavlink-ivy-interface can convert paparazzi telemetry via MavLink to QGroundControl, but there too, it is not sufficient to "MAVLink compatibility"
