I guess some recent ones would run it fine. But this of course heavily depends on which firmware, subsystems and frequencies you configure.
Also you would need to bring the avr code up to date again first.

Keep in mind the code can always be resurrected from the old commit, so if you do decide to experiment with AVRs again in the future, one can always just checkout an older commit and start bringing the code up to date. Should be easy to find in the commit messages.

I think some antenna tracker code is still using _some_ parts of the AVR arch, but unless this is all really useful and needed it should be moved out.

In any case, as long as we don't have someone willing to maintain the AVR arch, it will have to go sooner or later...
