what I wanted to say is that the github 'Issues' are already something like a developer discussion. Would be good if that information in the github would be stored and could be searched. Maybe forwarding all 'Issue' discussions automatically to another paparazzi mailing list?

Hm.. anyone (with a github account) can just "watch" the paparazzi repo and hence automatically get the discussions via mail...
