Hi,

If your concern is that an issue with the autopilot will prevent you from switching to manual mode to take control of the aircraft then maybe a multiplexer is what you're after rather than two receivers. I haven't tried this so I'm not sure how well it works. You probably need to be careful setting it up so that autopilot doesn't get locked out if you lose rc signal. Maybe something like this will do the job: http://www.pololu.com/product/721
