=================== BUG #2007: FULL BUG SNAPSHOT ===================
Submitted by: hvoordes Project: phpGroupWare
Submitted on: 2002-Dec-18 09:09
Category: email Bug Group: 0.9.14 release
Severity: 5 - Major Priority: Normal
Resolution: None Assigned to: skwashd
Status: Open Component Version: TGZ
Platform Version: Linux - RedHat Reproducibility: Every Time
Summary: Apache on alternative port (like 8080) produces email problems
Original Submission: When apache is running on port 8080. I get a error
sending an email telling the domain name is wrong (SMTP error). It shows my
server name with the portnumber attached to it say SERVER05:8080 as a wrong
domain name. Changing my apache back to default (80) and after reinstalling
phpgroupware the problem was not there anymore. It seems like it's using a php
environment variable to send the SMTP email for the domain name. This includes
the port apache is running on, because in my browser i would type as the URL
http://server05:8080/phpgroupware. So i think it will see my server name as
server05:8080 in stead of server05.
Could use some help on this one....
Regards, Da Herb.

Hmmm
What do you have server domain name set as in setup/congig->edit current
config, also what do you have the server url set to in there?
Cheers
