------------------ Additional Follow-up Comments ----------------------------
Ok, correcting the accented surname on LDAP database does not sufficies, i've
simply added the user to another group and save it and the surname got again
the accented character garbled.
Another strange thing: in display mode the surname are garbled, if i try to
modify it, i've found correct in the modify page.
Again: the single accented character (è) are translated to two strange
character (è). Unicode?!
I'm rather sure i'm not using unicode in LDAP setup...

Severity: 5 - Major Priority: None
Resolution: None Assigned to: jarg
Status: Open Component Version: None
Platform Version: Linux - Debian Reproducibility: None
Summary: Bug using accented character and LDAP
Original Submission: I've setup an account for a user that have accented
character in name (Federica del Frè), and phpgw admin tool pop up to me an LDAP
error.
I've retried without it (Federica delFre) and account was created, then i've
uset an LDAP tool (GQ) to correct the surname.
All seems work well, apart the email (i fire a bug to him now), could be simply
a wrong escaping?!
