Category: addressbook
Item Group: 0.9.16.001
Severity: 5 - Average
Priority: 5 - Normal
Resolution: None

Status: Open
Component Version: BZIP2
Platform Version: GNU/Linux - Other
Reproducibility: Every Time
Planned Release: None
Fixed Release:
Summary: changes in address are not being saved
Original Submission: try the following:
addressbook >> edit an entry >> choose address tab >> enter/edit something >>
save
It seems changes made to the addressfields are not being saved.
I'm able to edit/add a new address to a person's data, but it will NOT BE
SAVED. This does not affect any other 'person'-data, I can still edit any other
addressbook data but not the actual address.
I tried this both with register_globals=on|off

Perhaps this is simply a confusing design-
Try this:
addressbook >> edit an entry >> address tab >> enter/edit something.
Now there are two options.
(1)
If you click 'save', phpgw leaves the editor without saving anything.
(2)
If you click 'add' (button middle right) the info you entered will appear in
the address list for this contact.
Now if you 'save', the information is committed, or you 'cancel' and it is not.
The same behavior exists under the "Others" tab, which is the only other tab
(ha!) with the 'add' function.
I am not funny.
