Do you use squirrelmail ?
Perhaps it`s a good way just to make an additional navigation link in the
nav-bar left
and point to squirrelmail installed on your Webserver beneath phpgw and
opening it in an extra window !?
As far as i can tell squirrelmail works realy good , has alot of options and
modules. we try it with  100 Users at uni hamburg in our group !
So try it !
