Thank you.  I have a lab machine on which it works fine.  It's the
production machine on which it doesn't work!  I'm presently going
through both machines line-by-line and package-by-package to see what,
if any, differences there are between the machines.  So far, the only
thing I've come up with is that the production machine has
mysql-3.23.53a-1 and the lab machine has mysql-3.23.52.-3.  My next
experiment will be to upgrade mysql on the lab machine and see if that
breaks it.  If so, I then have to either find the code and fix it, or
get permission from the developers to downgrade mysql on the
production machine.  (Not an easy task.)
