Ooch! I can't think of a graceful way of saying this, so I'll just say it.
You should have made a backup. :( You probably already know that though.
There is hope however. I installed the new and improved (read working)
9.14.002 version and it does work now. Well, at least I made it past the
first setup screen this time. The only things I can think to try is deleting
the header.inc.php file and running the setup again to see if it will work a
second time through. I'd also verify that you do in fact have the latest and
greatest version. Perhaps download it again.
If this doesn't work for you, perhaps try downloading and installing the
9.1.4.001 version again. If you were stuck on the first setup screen like
myself, then I don't think the database would have been modified yet. I
can't think of any reason you couldn't just drop the old version back in and
continue as if nothing happened. Of course I've never tried this.
