Just by adding it to his calendar ;-)

Cause she need to have add grants from him to do so.She selects his
calendar / him in the normal calendar view, and add it there.

Or she add it in her calendar and make him participate, and she not,
that way she stays the owner of event and does not need the grant.

To see him (her boss) in the cal they have to be in at least one group
together.
