Did this already and it corrects the problem. See my discussion on a proposed
patch to fix this. Sadly, it doesn't make a difference to my original
problem. :( It does verify that phpgw has write privs to the ldap server
though, so that's not the problem.

That was going to be my next coarse of action. Sadly I don't know php very
well. Can you provide any tips on how best to do this. I'll peek through
the code and see if I can find a suitable example.
