OK, I found a nice debug example at http://www.ucl.ac.uk/is/mysql/php/ that
showed me I was getting an error that said "could not connect to socket blah
blah." I changed to using the network name of my host instead of the socket
and it now works. But I am going to post a new question: how do I tell PHP to
use the right socket location? Sent from the phpGroupWare forums @
