Hi all,

Welcome to the platform-testers mailing list.

People who volunteer to test pre-releases of GNU packages subscribe to this
list.

GNU package maintainers who have a pre-release and wish to want it tested on
many platforms can write to this mailing list, providing
  - the URL to the tarball containing the pre-release,
  - the planned date of the release,
  - the email address where the build reports shall be sent to.

Please do *not* send build reports to this platform-testers list. Instead,
send them to the email address that the package maintainer provided, or
to the package's development list if none was provided. Yes, you need to
fiddle with the "To" and "CC" fields in your mailer when replying to an
announcement on this list.

Bruno & José
