I've done several builds so far, and all have led to successful
validations and installations. On systems where I did builds with
multiple X11 toolkits, they each got a unique --prefix setting so as
not to interfere with each other when installed. The configure
options are --prefix=..., --with-pop, and on some,
--with-xpm=ifavailable and --with-gnutls=ifavailable.
CentOS 6.10 x86_64: --with-x-toolkit=gtk2
[athena, gtk3, and motif builds failed due
to missing libraries on the build host]
CentOS 7.8.2003 x86_64: --with-x-toolkit={athena,gtk2,gtk3,motif}
CentOS 8.2.2004 PPC64LE: --with-x-toolkit=athena
Debian 11 bullseye/sid ARM-64 (ARMv8-A aarch64 Cortex-A57):
--with-x-toolkit=athena
OpenMandriva Lx 4.2 (Argon) x86_64:
--with-x-toolkit=athena
Ubuntu 20.04 S390x: --with-x-toolkit=athena
Ubuntu 20.04 x86_64: --with-x-toolkit={athena,gtk2,gtk3,motif}
All except IBM S390x are little endian systems.
More builds will follow over the next few days.
OpenMandriva 4.2 is a new O/S release, and it has an emacs binary
package, but it cannot be installed because of a missing libotf.so
dependency. My own build of emacs-27.1 fixed that problem.
