     mind me running M-x change-log-redate on all the ChangeLog files?
     This changes the date lines from this format:

     to this modern GNU format:
             2007-03-18  Ben Pfaff  <address@hidden>


Only if you're confident that it works properly on your copy of
emacs.  I've noticed that it does wierd things like changing:


 2007-04-19 John Darrington <address@hidden>

to 

 1999-11-30  John Darrington <address@hidden>

and other inexplicable nonsense.
